The girl looked out of the window, Saw the world in her pride, Fabrics, cars, and toys, It made her realise; The freedom she received here, Her democratic land, Where people lived together, But never reached each other a hand; Where some unborn children never lived, And the egoism never died, She wanted it so differently, This world she denied… For what she was longing for, Was a paradise of love she wanted to receive, That was what she was after, Willingly to leave, This world where she lived in, It never was her home, That was what made her a stranger, And ever lonesome… She cried all she wanted, Fearing her paradise would never come, And as she saw the world, The lack of love couldn’t tell her she was wrong; That was when she met him, A stranger along, He was it who told her, she really was wrong; He showed her the love of God, The sacrifice and the paradise He made, About His ever flowing mercy, It wasn’t to late… For that was what she longed for, His love and mercy she wanted to receive, That was what she was after, Willingly to leave, The sin that she had lived in, It never was her home, That had been the thing that made her a stranger, But now never more lonesome… A new life started, Though paradise was not there yet, She was travelling to it, Saw it growing in her head; By the love she received, trying to leave her sins behind, The world became a little better place, When she sought Gods face; Helping others on the way, That wasn’t always easy at all, But He was never far away, And helped her make her goal, For what she was longing for, His paradise she received, What she was after, She got when it was her time to leave, This world where she had lived in, It never was her home, She now left, To life for ever by His throne… There His Love was ever flowing, Everything was right before His throne, She thanked for His mercy, That took her home… |
